This layout was done a while back, I am just getting caught up with my editing.  I am now finally caught up and while I still have several videos to edit they are all videos that were done in the past couple of weeks and not months ago!
The photo in this layout is a pic of me as I was walking on the deck to return to our spot by the pool. James took several photos like this and they all just reminded me of those photos that the paparazzi take of celebrities (without the body of course).  They kind of had a sinister vibe since I was unaware of it and my face always looked so serious.  I could just hear the whir of the camera when I looked at these.  Ha ha! As it happened there were a lot of photos on the camera that I found when I got back that the "paparazzi" took, if you get my meaning.  Uggghh!

Anyway, I use some Distress Stain, Distress Ink, and alcohol ink to watercolor a background.  Then some stamping with Distress Ink on top of that using the Tattered Angels and Prima stamp sets.  I used some filmstrip washi tape that I had in my stash and also the tiny filmstrip stamp from one of the Prima sets. The idea of the page was to stay with the 'photo' theme, i.e. stamps representing travel, compass representing location, filmstrips representing photography, and nautical items to represent where I was.  I had some polymer clay starfish that I had previously made with a Martha Stewart mold (I think) and I colored them with my accent color that I chose based on the color of my suit in the photo.  I layered some netting and cut-aparts with my photo and finally I inserted some brads that coordinated with my starfish and brought the pops of accent color to an odd number (not counting the photo).  I had some problems during the filming of this layout and at times I forgot to turn on my camera or I lost the footage. So, I could not find the footage of when I cut the shells from the Prima paper and enhanced them with Liquid Pearls, I do, however, show a closeup still at the end so that you can see what I did.

I hope you get some inspiration from this layout and/or just enjoy watching the process.  Please feel free to follow my blog or subscribe to my You Tube channel.  Constructive feedback and comments are always welcome!  Thanks for visiting and watching!
