"A Love Story" Mini Album

Below are extra pics of the "A Love Story" mini album that I made.  This album, as well a two kits to make this album, is for sale in my Etsy store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/ScrappersHelper

1.  Front Cover. The cover has an aperture cut in it.  I attached a heart made from two pieces of Shimmer Sheetz with a dried flower adhered to it and covered with Glossy Accents Crackle.  By wedging the metallic thread in the middle of the two halves I was able to suspend the heart in the aperture.  When the cover is opened the heart will twist.

2.  Inside front cover.  I gathered sparkly ribbon around the outside of the apperture and made a journaling spot to the right because the area was really too small for a photo.

3. Page 1.  A folder flips up to reveal a journaling spot or a photo mat.

4. Page 2.  Space for a photo.

5.  Heart Mini Page.  I used a chipboard heart cutout as a page and made a journaling spot on one side and a place for a tiny photo on the other.

6. Page 3.  Using a metal framed vellum tag that I colored with alcohol ink as a holder, I made a round tag that can be slipped behind it.  The tag is tied with hand died silk ribbon and can hold a photo or journaling.

7. Page 4.  This page has a double tag that slips under and is held in place by the ribbon.  Underneath the small tag on the back journaling or a photo can be placed.  The smaller tag swings out of the way.  Also, when the tag is removed a photo can go on the page itself.

8. Page 5.  This page is one of my favorites.  I made half-heart shapes with the Shimmer Sheetz and wrapped ribbon around the shapes.  I attached the larger one completely ot the page and the smaller one just at the top and bottom leaving the middle open to hold the mini envelope.  A smaller heart made out of the Shimmer Sheetz and decorated with a silver Sharpy pen also helps to hold the envelope in place.  The envelope itself is held closed by a piece of metallic thread and has a small tag inside for a little photo or hidden journaling.

9. Page 6.  I used three different sizes of the Tim Holtz Fragments to manify the image of the cupid.  There is a spot for a photo beside the image.

10.  Page 7.  This page has a folder that flips open and contains two removable tags each with a photo mat and journaling spot.  Journaling or photos can also be place inside the folder when the tags are removed.

11. Page 8.  This page has an arrangement of dried flowers topped off with a bow made from hand died silk ribbon.  A spot is left open for a photo.

12. Page 9.  The hearts on this page were quilled using silver paper.
